What On Earth's new and improved website goes live
Award winning organic food company gives its popular website a modern facelift
Among the new features are cartoon interpretations of What On Earth staff and a moving, changeable banner that will show different employees, products and retailers every month. There is also a login page specifically for What On Earth clients, which can be accessed with a special username and password. This page allows clients to see the company’s latest newsletters and price lists.
The site has more pages dedicated to its wide range of organic products and is connected to the What On Earth blog and social media pages. The interactive and ever popular What On Earth World is still a main feature on the site, as are the quirky allotment cam, the company’s views on saving the planet and the amusing What On Earth manifesto.
“We’re extremely impressed with the new site and feel it reflects our personality perfectly. It continues to show our lazy activist attitude and the company’s more playful side. It also still encourages consumers to interact with our brand and, most of all, to enjoy it,” says Jeremy Jaffé, co-founder and director of What On Earth.
Jaffé continued: “The client log in area shows our more serious side and has been designed to make dealing with us more convenient. In such a fast moving society many people now prefer to do things online. If customers need to know the price of something quickly they can now access it on our website.
“We want to show the world that we are moving with the times. We are active on social media and are constantly launching new products so it’s only right that our website portrays this as well.”
The new website was developed by Tom Sinclair of www.helloimtom.com. Tom has previously worked on websites for the likes of The Nike Foundation, Sony PlayStation and Dr Marten’s.
The sound effects for the site were created by Soundtree Productions, noted for its work on Levis and the Guinness ‘Surfer’ TV commercial.

About What on Earth
Established 13 years ago, What on Earth is a leading, award winning organic food manufacturer. Starting out by making just one humble organic pizza, the company has grown considerably over the years and now produces a wide range of high quality food products, all of which are high in vitamins and minerals but contain no GMOs, additives or pesticides. What on Earth sources the best ingredients from around the world for all its products, believes in good animal husbandry and constantly strives to reduce any environmental impacts.
What on Earth was founded by Jeremy Jaffé and Rolf de Polla, both of whom are still at the helm of the company. Originally owners of classic car dealerships, the pair decided to move into the food industry as they were keen to put the goodness back into food and change society’s palate. What on Earth has its headquarters in London but also owns a depot in Bridgwater, Somerset. The company supplies its products to a selection of food stores, delis, cafes and restaurants across the UK.
