Santa Clara — Candidate for the California 25th Assembly District ArLyne Diamond is pleased to announce that she will be participating in the League of Women Voters' May 3, 2012 Candidate Forum at the Fremont Unified School District Board Room, 4210 Technology Drive in Fremont.

The newly formed California state assembly district #25 includes the Alameda County city of Newark and parts of Fremont, and the Santa Clara County cities of Milpitas and Santa Clara, and parts of Sunnyvale, Alviso, Cupertino, San Jose, and Morgan Hill.

"With a new district and an open primary, we have a unique opportunity in this election," says Diamond. "This is wonderful chance for voters to get to know the candidates, discuss the critical challenges we face in California, and learn where each candidate stands on these important issues. The League of Women Voters is doing an outstanding public service in holding this forum."
