April 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Future Media Visions has announced the release of EcoSlide Version 1.50 for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This unique picture puzzle is intended to raise environmental awareness by showcasing images of endangered species and conservation areas around the world. Besides being fun and informative, the developers wanted the app to have a tangible impact on the environment, so they have pledged a portion of the app's proceeds to support conservation activities. FMV has selected The Nature Conservancy to receive these donations, citing factors such as global reach, scope and effectiveness of their projects, and operating efficiency. According to FMV Managing Partner, Derek Selp, "We had been interested in doing a green app, but decided we weren't clever enough to come up with a killer idea. So the next best thing was to put funds in the hands of experts who could make a direct impact." Slep added, "EcoSlide lets users explore the diversity of wildlife and their habitats, while doing a small part to help preserve them.

Along with other new features, Version 1.50 incorporates real-life rewards offered through the Kiip achievement system. As players progress, they become eligible for sponsored rewards, which if accepted, are delivered as certificates via email.
