Indie Artist, Who’s “Saved With A Gift”, Reveals His Prayze S.W.A.G.

April 26, 2012 - PRLog -- GEORGIA — April 2012 — Singer, songwriter and worship leader, Edward “G” Porter, releases his much anticipated first single entitled “Prayze S.W.A.G.” from his upcoming debut EP.

Prayze S.W.A.G. is high energy track with hard hitting beats that provides a relevant message of praising God while emphasizing the importance of being who God created us to be and that we are all Saved With A Gift (S.W.AG.).  

“This song aims to motivate, inspire and encourage listeners to embrace their uniqueness in God and give Him all of the praise.” – Edward

Swag, a popular term used to associate an overall demeanor, style or confidence, is well-known to the modern generation.   Edward decided to add a more purposeful aspect of the term and reveal that your gift(s) can come in different forms and can be used to Glorify God.

“You may be better at rapping, dancing, speaking, mixing on turntables, singing, playing an instrument, etc.  Either way, we all should feel empowered to use the gifts we were given for the purpose of showing God to the world”.  

Edward, who also formed a Prayze Swag clothing line of Christian T-shirts, plans to reach out to a generation to let them know that we need to have a relationship with God.  

“I created Prayze Swag to show the world that we can be saved and still remain who God created us to be. We can still have SWAG, style and confidence and express our praise and our worship in a way that glorifies God and at the same time is relevant to the culture and generation around us.” - Edward

Edward’s debut EP is pending release the summer of 2012. He is currently working with multi-talented producer Darren Mays, of Bridge12 Productions, to put together a project that will cross musical genres to reach people where they are.
