Fashion Guru Tim Johnson Celebrates 25 Years in the Fashion Industry

April 26, 2012 - PRLog -- 25 years ago Tim Johnson embarked on a journey that changed his life. He would be the first to tell you that he had no idea what to do with his life. He will tell you that he cheated his way through high school. He will tell you that he was placed on academic probation while in college and thought that being on probation meant we had been kicked out of college all together. Amazingly enough it was this chain of events that led Johnson to his passion…the Beauty Industry. Initially Johnson had the intention to become a barber. As luck would have it, all classes were full which led Johnson to attend cosmetology school and the rest is history in the making.

On April 28, 2012 Randal Rome of Bodi Night club and Ron Thomas of Seven Production will present “Tim Johnson’s Fashion on South West,” the biggest fashion show/block party the likes of Raleigh NC has ever seen. Randall Rome, CEO of Bodi Night Club, the hottest Miami themed night club in North Carolina approached Johnson with the concept of creating an event with Ron Thomas of  7 Productions, one of the top promoters in the Raleigh area. The idea was to create a joint effort with a “Tim Johnson Flair.”
Raleigh prepare for the event of all events. “Tim Johnson Fashion on South West will take place at Club Bodi at 301 South West Street in Raleigh, NC. Doors will open at 9pm and the show will start at 9:55pm-Until it’s done. Guest should expect to be wowed by the fashions of fashion designers Carl Trogen and Bramer Leon Stevens and a hair presentation by world class stylist Samantha Hutleigh, who is the Artistic Director for Bronner Brothers International (BB). Agencies, television and magazine representatives will be on site for this phenomenal event. What makes this event special is the fact that it is a celebration of Johnson’s 25th year in the beauty industry, Seven Productions 7th anniversary, and Bodi Night Club's 1st year anniversary.

When speaking with World Class Barber, Tyrik Johnson about his thoughts on Tim Johnson,  he did not have a shortage of positive things to say, “ I am smart enough to know that I am dumb enough to ask someone smarter than me how to do something that I want to do that they already know how to do… I already had a vision and somewhat of a plan. Tim actually put that vision into perspective for me in a step by step plan that lead me to achieve great success in my field.”
