First Pinot’s Palette Entertainment Art Studio in Memphis Opens on Sanderlin Avenuve

Pinot’s Palette - Sanderlin Grand Opening June 2012 - Plans to Enrich Community Traditions

April 25, 2012 - PRLog -- —MEMPHIS— “I love the idea of providing this uplifting experience to our community,” says Kristi Bauer, native Memphian and proud new owner of Pinot’s Palette. She continues, “The Pinot’s Palette experience really embodies what we Memphians love about our city.”

Pinot’s Palette is a Paint and Sip studio where groups of friends gather for date night, girls’ night, and corporate events, bring wine and snacks, and enjoy an interactive art experience. Everyone attending the event recreates a featured painting of the night, like a version of Van Gogh’s Starry Night, with the help of local artists. Pinot’s Palette supplies all of the art materials, wine glasses and plates to enjoy the evening.

Some call it entertainment art, others call it a painting party, but everyone agrees – no experience is necessary to have a great time at the nightly two or three hour events. Bauer explains, “Class participants are always thrilled with the experience! It feels like I’m hosting a party every night.”

While many Memphians already enjoy wine and art, the Pinot’s Palette unique combination with entertainment makes it a great addition to Memphis’s one-of-a-kind culture. “The Memphis community has so many arts and entertainment activities to offer, and we are honored to be part of the mix now,” relates Charles Willis, founder and President of Pinot’s Palette.

Jim Lattimore of Memphis House Concerts agrees, "Art and culture are such a strong part of Memphis’ history. I can’t wait to see how Kristi infuses some of the Memphis culture into the Pinot’s Palette events.”

For Bauer, opening up Pinot’s Palette is a dream come true, “I feel like this is the perfect marriage between my business experience, love for art and passion for Memphis.” Many Memphians may already know Bauer, who grew up in Memphis, for her colorful art work (oils on canvas), advertising and marketing career, and through her supportive family, Ken Bauer and their three children.

CEO and founder of Pinot’s Palette, Craig Ceccanti, gives the Bauers a ringing endorsement, “The two most essential characteristics to have as new business owners are energy and passion. We are constantly reinvigorated by what Kristi and Ken bring to our team and are confident Pinot’s Palette – Sanderlin will be a great success.”
