Follow on Google News | Kaelus to Exhibit at CTIA Wireless 2012Showcasing the industry’s largest selection of Range to Fault enabled Passive Intermodulation test equipment
By: Kaelus The new RTF-1000A extends RTF capability to Kaelus’ low frequency band PIM test equipment in the 700MHz, 800MHz and 900MHz frequency bands. This new product release now enables all nine models of the Kaelus iQA to support RTF capability (iQA-700L, iQA-700H, iQA-790, iQA-850, iQA-900, iQA-901, iQA-1800, iQA-1921 and iQA-2101) making this the most robust offering in the industry. Range to Fault (RTF) technology uses reflection data combined with PIM data to accurately identify the location of faults in the RF path. This new technology enables operators to quickly identify and eliminate sources of PIM in their RF infrastructure and confidently combine multiple bands on the same feed system without generating harmful interference. Eliminating PIM reduces system noise allowing higher data throughput and improved service quality. “We are thrilled to provide RTF capability to our full line of iQA test instruments,” Kaelus will also showcase the latest offerings in RF conditioning products to optimize and improve the most demanding 3G and 4G networks. Based on state of the art PIM minimizing techniques, Kaelus multi-band combining products reduce the required antenna architectures for minimal signal loss, while tower mounted products condition and amplify signals to maximize cell site performance. The multiband combiners and TMAs reduce ongoing operating expenses by fully utilizing existing infrastructure. Kaelus combining and TMA products have been successfully deployed with operators around the world. Solutions are available for all Telecommunications bands from 700MHz to 2600MMHz.
