Power Ten, Inc. to be in Washington D.C. for Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) Dinner

In support of the Marine Corps Aviation Association, Power Ten, Inc. will be in Washington D.C. for final dinner with Marine Corps Commandant General James Amos
 
April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Power Ten, Inc. is supporting the Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA)  by hosing a table at its April 26, 2012 dinner. The sold-out dinner, taking place at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Virginia, features General James F. Amos, Commandant of the Marine Corps, giving the keynote address, and serves as the MCAA’s final dinner for this season.

Power Ten, Inc. will be represented by Harry Spies, Lieutenant General Keith J. Stalder (Ret), Captain Roger Smith, USN (Ret), Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy Expeditionary Programs, Dr. Peter Tsantrizos, Terragon Environmental Technologies, Russ Emons, Scott Kerchner, Matt Redfern, Mick Rovenstein, and Ernie Vinson.

General James F. Amos assumed the duties of Commandant of the Marine Corps in October of 2010. A graduate of the University of Idaho, General Amos has held command at all levels from Lieutenant Colonel to Lieutenant General.

General Amos’ command tours have included: Marine Wing Support Squadron 173 from 1985-1986; Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 – attached to Carrier Air Wing 8 onboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) – from 1991-1993; Marine Aircraft Group 31 from 1996-1998; 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in combat during Operations IRAQI FREEDOM I and II from 2002-2004; II Marine Expeditionary Force from 2004-2006; and Commanding General, Marine Corps Combat Development Command and Deputy Commandant, Combat Development and Integration from 2006 to 2008. Additional operational tours have included Marine Fighter Attack Squadrons 212, 235, 232, and 122. From 2008-2010 General Amos served as the 31st Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps.

The Marine Corps Aviation Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and recognize professional excellence in Marine aviation, support the fraternal bond of its membership, preserve Marine aviation heritage and safeguard the future of Marine aviation through awards programs, events and publications. The MCAA exists to link the past, present and future of Marine Aviation through a variety of activities, media and events. Anybody with a supportive interest in Marine Aviation is welcome to join.
