Dacor® Distinctive Electric Cooktop Other electric cooktops offer limitations in terms of cooking temperature, but the Distinctive Electric Cooktops are manufactured with infinite heat level settings allowing chefs to adjust the heat to the precise temperature they need for their style of cooking. Additionally, the multi-directional knobs allow users to easily set the temperature by turning in either direction to reach the desired heat setting - achieve either an immediate high heat, or quickly and easily hold a food-safe simmer. Further enhancing the Cooktop’s performance, the Distinctive Electric Cooktops feature radiant ceramic elements. When the temperature is dialed-up for optimal cooking performance, element response time is instantaneous. The single- and dual-circuit elements help home chefs achieve their cooking goal, from melting chocolate in a small sauce pan, stir frying in a wok, to braising in a large Dutch oven. Dual-ring elements adapt to fit a variety of pot and pan dimensions. Hand-in-hand with high-end performance is distinctive Dacor design. A dedicated Hot Surface Safety Indicator Light for each element signals that the corresponding element is either on or has residual heat.
