Jenne Hosts Powering Partners Summit, Driving Successful Reseller and Partner Engagements into 2012
Jenne held its first annual Powering Partners Summit earlier this week, presenting its VARs and manufacturer partners with the opportunity to network and share insight into the latest solutions, tools and best practices available in the channel.
Kicking off the Summit, Jenne CEO Dave Johnson laid out Jenne’s vision for success, centered on how VARs can leverage pioneering technologies by leveraging Jenne’s “high touch” model — which remains unique in distribution.

Powering Partners: Networking for Success
The Powering Partners Summit featured several manufacturer solution workshops, each offering attendees the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the most innovative technologies available in the channel from companies including Avaya, Aastra, ADTRAN, Extreme Networks, Jabra, LifeSize, Logitech, Panasonic, Status Solutions and Teles.
The Powering Partners Summit vendor expo facilitated face-to-face meetings among VARs and leading manufacturer partners, and Jenne took the opportunity to demonstrate its advanced collection of tools designed to help solution providers remain efficient and win new business.
On demonstration was the Jenne Solutions Designer (JSD), an online tool that provides resellers with the ability to upload, view and maintain network design configurations in real time. VARs also had a chance to experience Jenne’s Contract Management Tool, which automatically tracks contract expirations and flags opportunities for service renewals — making a once burdensome task simple and easy.
Well-Deserved Recognition for Manufacturers and Resellers
At the Opening General Session, Jenne recognized three top partners in conjunction with three of its Platinum sponsors. The following VARs were recognized: with Avaya, BenComm; with LifeSize, North American Communications Resources; and with Panasonic, ID-Tech Solutions. At its awards dinner the closing evening Jenne recognized the growth and success of six partners with the Jenne Awards of Excellence. The award was presented to Axess Communications, Johnston Communications, GSolutionz Inc., Enterprise Systems Corp., Frontier Communications Corp. and Heavy Water Ltd.
