The vote is in - "Today I Found God" wins prestigious Christian Book Award.

April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- From unemployed to award-winning children’s author, Greg Long says, “Anything is possible with God on your side.”  Long’s celebrated book, Today I Found God, was awarded the Christian Small Publisher’s “2012 BOOK OF THE YEAR” for ages 4-8.

The Christian Small Publisher BOOK OF THE YEAR honors books produced by small publishers each year for outstanding contribution to Christian life.  Books are nominated by publishers and voting is open to Christian readers, retailers, and publishing professionals.  

This year the Christian Book competition was fierce- with over 95 entries, so Long is thrilled to receive such an honor.   Greg says, “ I am overwhelmed by all the votes we received.  It’s truly awesome that God is using my dream of being an author to inspire so many Christian families across the country to find God in their own lives.”

Today I Found God is a playful story about a boy on a quest to find out why God lets bad things happen.  The fast-paced rhymes and whimsical illustrations lead to an ending that is both unexpected and uplifting.

Today I Found God also won The Moonbeam Children’s book Awards Gold Medal for Best Religious Children’s Book of the Year.   Greg is a Christian Youth Minister and dynamic motivatinal speaker, creating fun interactive worship experiences for young people.  Greg says, "God is always with us, I want to teach Kids how to always be with God."
