La Jolla Home Theater & Automation Hosts Kids and Technology Event

April 23, 2012 - PRLog -- What:  La Jolla Home Theater & Automation (LJHT&A) teams up with Kaleidescape and Kid Ventures to hold an educational event for parents and children in the San Diego community. Kids and Technology will feature new kid friendly electronics, discounted products, as well as education for parents.

LJHT&A is a local Apple Authorized Reseller. The certified Apple Experts on staff will be educating parents about internet safety, setting app limits, parental controls and more. In addition, the Apple Experts will be showing how the iPad can be turned into a teaching tool for children.
                       
Kaleidescape will be providing hands-on demonstrations of their kid's remote and media system. Guests will be able to preview the new child user interface and explore the first movie server specifically designed for young children.

Kid Ventures will have a booth with technology related crafts, as well as information and passes for their indoor play center.

Discounts will be available on kid friendly products such as shock absorbent, non-toxic cases and screen protectors for iPads and iPhones. In addition, guests will be treated to a BBQ lunch as well as an opportunity to win prizes.
