Rick’sDogDeli.com to co-sponsor the Winter Park Dog Walk
Rick'sDogDeli.com will join more than a dozen co-sponsors of the 1st Annual Winter Park Dog Walk to be held May 19, 2012. The event will benefit The Lost Pets Foundation.
Rick’sDogDeli.com creates custom meals for individual dogs based on the unique nutritional needs of the breed. “We combine simple, whole foods that provide excellent health benefits,” says Charlie Guns, founder of Rick’sDogDeli.com. “In humans, obesity, diabetes and cancer can be linked to diet—and specifically to processed foods. A dog fed a diet of processed food faces the same health risks, if not greater risk because of the byproducts in commercial dog food. We create custom meals made of fresh, natural human-grade foods known for their excellent health benefits. We take it one step further to create diets that meet the unique nutritional needs of specific breeds and the medical needs, if any, of the individual dog.”
In co-sponsoring the Winter Park Dog Walk, Rick’sDogDeli.com supports its core mission of creating a healthier pet community. “Exercise and proper diet are essential elements of a healthy life for pets. You could say that supporting this event is a ‘natural’ for us,” explained Guns.
