April 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Dragão Porto think that if you have a business, you cannot afford to miss being at the International Algarve Fair. Last year’s fair was a complete sell-out and there were companies who were not able to take part in what was a remarkable event given the current financial climate. Each year, the organisers aim to create a bigger and better event, with stands catering for all aspects of Algarve life as well as wonderful entertainment for young and old, and competitions with fantastic prizes to be won.

A source from Dragão Porto, a Porto-based sales and marketing company said, “The fair is a fantastic place for businesses to get some promotion and do some selling to a large audience. Last year it had around 10,000 visitors. That’s a considerable amount of people.”

Now in its seventh year, the fair will include new attractions and facilities as well as those that have proved so successful in recent years. From live music performances and children’s entertainment to the Algarve Dog Show, the Wine Show, Lagoa Fire brigade with their fire engine and zip wire equipment and even The Portugal News Café, there is plenty to see and do at the fair while finding out about quality businesses that operate in the region.

“It’s a really fun event as well as an opportunity,” said our source at Dragão Porto, “There’s so much to see and do, from live events to shopping and great food. I would definitely recommend checking it out and enjoying the atmosphere.”

“There is a broad theme for this year’s fair, which is ‘Time to Sparkle’. We want exhibitors to be able to show the public that not only have they survived the difficult economic times, but they have grown and strengthened” said Fair Manager Sónia Seixas, adding “it’s also a chance for our visitors young and old to sparkle and take part in some fantastic competitions and events.”

A limited number of stands for restaurants and businesses are still available, but hurry as time is running short and they are selling fast!

The International Algarve Fair takes place at the Fatacil fairground in Lagoa on 2 and 3 June from 11am until 7pm on each day. For more information visit the website at: http://algarvefair.com.
