SearchBliss Launches SEO Tool To Protect Websites From Search Penalties
SearchBliss has just launched it's latest online search engine optimization tool out of BETA. The Harmful Links Checker scans websites checking for outbound links that may be harmful to a website's standing with search engines.
"I was amazed by how many webmasters I'd come in contact with through forums who sites disappeared from Google's search results", says SearchBliss' CEO John Kline. "After reviewing their sites, I found a majority of them contained 'spammy' links with questionable anchor text, which inspired the development of this tool." Kline knows that other factors may have also played a part in the drop in search positions of these sites, but finding a common factor was a positive step toward a solution. "I'm aware that some webmasters partake in what they call black hat techniques, but many hadn't, and it appeared to be mainly the 'bad' links", says Kline.
