TwinEngines Builds Lean Website for Georgia Association of Manufacturers

Following its lean web methodology, TwinEngines builds and hosts Georgia Association of Manufacturers new website reflecting its expanded scope of membership from textile and carpet companies to the entirety of manufacturing in Georgia.

April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- The Georgia Association of Manufacturers (GAM) recently launched its new website to reflect its new expanded scope of membership from textile and carpet companies to the entirety of manufacturing in Georgia. The new website, www.gamfg.org, follows TwinEngines' lean web methodology for an organization’s web presence.

TwinEngines, an associate member of GAM, built the website on an open-source content management system (CMS) which enables the association to update photos and information directly without the need for a third-party vendor. This means no bottlenecks for providing the latest news and information for its members and prospective manufacturers.  The CMS also lets the company easily manage the organic SEO information for each web page, and web analytics employed on the site provide the metrics required for continual improvement initiatives.

A lean website also generates leads for partnerships and helps converts visitors into members.  The call-to-action to Join GAM is prominently displayed on the home page and throughout the site.  Member benefits and association successes are easy to find to support the call-to-action.

Clay Jones, VP and General Counsel of GAM said, “GAM is the Georgia affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), with a long history of advocacy on behalf of Georgia manufacturers. We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of the new website and we are excited how it will aid us in continuing to increase the association’s visibility to all manufacturers in Georgia.”
