Beginning in the earliest time zones of New Zealand, and spreading across the planet time zone by time zone across 6 continents, to end with the final events in Kuai, Hawaii.

The events motto is "One World ... One Breath."

This event has been officially proclaimed by governors of 22 US states, officials, ministries, senates, and legislatures of many states and nations.

It has been part of the UN World Health Organization's Movement for Health celebrations, and of the US Dept. of Health & Human Services Women's Health Week.

Tai Chi and Qigong have shown through medical research studies that these health tools could cut national health costs by hundreds of billions in future years, as a major health study reveals that 70 to 85% of all health issues in industrial countries are caused by stress.

www.WorldTaiChiDay.org has a "Research" link where you can see many of these studies.
