American Land Title Association Completes Shoot for Popular DIY TV Show ‘Designing Spaces’ on Lifetime TV

(Pompano Beach, FL – April 20, 2012)  American Land Title Association recently completed their filming for the popular DIY morning television show “Designing Spaces.”  The segment, which features Anne Anastasi, former President of ALTA will share information with viewers about title insurance and home buying. The show will air this month on “Designing Spaces” on Lifetime Television.  

Members of the American Land Title Association advocate safe and efficient transfer of real estate and insist on high standards when searching land title records and preparing insurance documents.  Their members check the public records for issues impacting use of the property, correct any mistakes, facilitate the closing, act as a clearinghouse of all the documents and explain them to the homebuyer, disburse the funds to close the deal, and hand the homebuyer the keys to their new home.

Involvement by members of ALTA is often thought of as the catalyst that allows a real estate closing to proceed smoothly until completed.

“Homeowners invest their time and money to make their home beautiful and functional, it’s important they protect that investment,” says Michelle Korsmo, CEO of American Land Title Association. “By partnering with ‘Designing Spaces,’ we’re hoping to help current and potential homeowners better understand how an Owner’s Policy of Title Insurance protects their homeownership, and give them the peace of mind they deserve.”

During the segment, viewers will learn about the importance of having an expert on their side when it comes to the closing process.
