He is an excellent and consistent shooter with a very high and strong academic profile. I am happy that Josh found a home, somewhere he can play college basketball, grow, and become a productive citizen. It is a major accomplishment when a kid can earn an athletic scholarship at a major university like Johnson C. Smith. He will have an opportunity to not only compete on the basketball floor, shooting that basketball as he does so well, but also compete in the business world because of the high academic standards that an education from Johnson C. Smith University will afford him," Coach Tony Taylor said. "He is a shooter and we expect him to come in shooting and scoring and look forward to his addition to our 2012-13 roster," said Head Coach Steve Joyner, Jr. End
