April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Kismet Jardin is a Leader in Re-Establishing the Age-Old Traditions of Natural Perfumery.

ADELAIDE, April 20 - A South Australian Company is leading the way in the multi-billion dollar fragrance industry to re-discover and re-establish mysteries and the art of Natural Perfumery. Since 1850, the fragrance industry has been dominated by synthetic aroma-chemicals. Whether be cheap or very expensive, almost all the main-stream perfumes are made using synthetic aroma materials derived from petrochemicals.

Natural fragrances have exerted their magical charm throughout the centuries. Kismet Jardin through its natural perfumes wants to revive romance, spirituality, and bio-energetic connection with the aromatic treasures of nature.

Natural Perfumery is the art of creating pleasurable and memorable aromatic experiences; using only flower essences, plant extracts and essential oils from leaves, buds, herbs,  resins, fruits and seeds. The mainstream perfume Industry lies between petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, and the fragrance-chemist has to build economic considerations into their development work and strives to use the cheapest synthetics to keep costs down.

“A perfume is not just a random collection of aromatic raw materials. It is the result of a precise system of odorant molecules within the formulation. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and headspace technology have provided valuable tools to a perfumer to identify and quantify major aromatic components of natural substances,” said Manoj Jain, Director R & D, Kismet Jardin Pty Ltd. “The perfumer can then select the synthetic materials and combine them to re-create the scent of the flower, leaf, fruit etc.  But, the resultant synthetic fragrance lacks complexity and sophistication of the original natural substance.”
“Most of the aroma-chemicals are derived from Turpentine Sulfate, C2-C5 Petrochemicals, Benzene, Phenol, Toluene, Xylenes, Cresols and Naphthalene. The natural aromatic ingredients that we use in our creations, are rare and precious perfumery materials resourced from all over the world,” said Manoj Jain.

Kismet Jardin Pty Ltd is a South Australia based company; it was established in Feb, 2010 as a natural perfumery. The company wants to expand its operational activities and seeking suitable partners. Kismet Jardin has an important role in the present-age perfumery.  It aims to conserve traditions of the age-old natural perfumery, and wants to advance technical and scientific sophistication in the development of new natural fragrances.
