Your Spiritness Expo Comes To The Pontiac Silverdome May 5-6, 2012

April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Your Spiritness Company has been hosting metaphysical and holistic expos since 2009 throughout the midwest and a psychic fair held at the main office in Berkley, MI since 2006.  In the past, the location for the Your Spiritness Expo in Michigan had been held at the Macomb Sports And Expo Center in Warren, MI.  Starting in 2012, the location for the Your Spiritness Expos held in Michigan have moved.  They will now be held at the Pontiac Silverdome in the Featherstone Fieldhouse.  The dates for this event are May 5-6, 2012 and October 6-7, 2012.  The Fieldhouse is located on the Silverdome property at 1200 Featherstone Rd in Pontiac, MI, on the corner of Opdyke and Featherstone.  The Fieldhouse is easily accessible through the northwestern most gate on Featherstone.  There will be no charge for parking at this event as the Silverdome has offered to waive it for participants and attendees of the Your Spiritness Expo.

One of the many advantages of the new location is that the event will now be held as a two day event instead of only one day as it had been in the past.  Other advantages of the new location are better accessibility as the Silverdome is just off the M-59 expressway and on the corner of Opdyke and Featherstone which is more centrally located to the surrounding metro-Detroit area, better notability as more people are familiar with the Pontiac Silverdome, and the location allows for lots of room for the event to grow.  "We are hopeful that being in the new location will bring more awareness to Michiganders about the metaphysical and holistic ways of being." says Lynne, the Event Coordinator of the Your Spiritness expos.  'With all of the recent tv shows over the past few years about mediums, psychics, and the paranormal so many people are more curious now about the paranormal than ever before.  This stuff is so much more openly discussed and welcomed than it had been a decade ago.  Just remember that, like the tv shows, all readings are for entertainment."  Lynne teaches one of the many classes at the Your Spiritness expos.  The class Lynne teaches is free with paid admission and is offered on Saturday and again on Sunday from 11:30a-12:20p.  The class is titled, "Basic Definitions, How Psychics Work, And How To Choose One".  "Being psychic is not some secret rocket science." says Lynne. "We all have the innate ability within each of us.  For some it exudes more naturally than with others.  My introduction to being psychic was not a very pleasant one.  In fact, it terrified me.  Through knowledge and understanding, I now embrace and welcome the ability and use it to assist others when they are at a crossroad in life."

There are many different aspects to the show.  In addition to free classes and workshops, psychics and mediums utilizing varied modalities from tarot cards to pendulums to channeling, the event will have various vendors offering items and services for sale.  Among some of the anticpated vendors are: bodyworkers offering massage and Reiki as well as other energy "healing" modalities;  vendors offering organic products and natural and homeopathic items such as soaps and aromatherapy products, holistic and alternative health providers; and vendors offering various metaphysical products such as rocks, crystals, clothing, books and cd's, meditational aids, and assorted divination tools.  Though the show will be offered in May and again in October, not all of the same readers and vendors will be at both shows.

The show will be held Saturday and Sunday from 11a-7p on May 5-6, 2012 and again on October 6-7, 2012 at the Pontiac Silverdome in the Featherstone Fieldhouse located at 1200 Featherstone Rd, Pontiac, MI 48342.
