Ziff Campus, 18900 NE 25th Avenue, North Miami Beach, will house an unprecedented art exhibit, Israel – From Biblical Times to the Present, as part of its Israel 64 Community Celebration.

This exhibit, comprised of more than 500 works of art by Christian school students, grades K-college, from North Carolina, is being presented by the MAR-JCC’s Israel Programs Department, WIZO, and the Consulate General of Israel. It will be open to the public from Tuesday, April 24 - Friday, April 27 (10am-9pm) – $5 for Students/Seniors, $10 general admission. During the hours of the MAR-JCC’s Israel Independence Day Celebration, on Wednesday, April 25, from 5-10pm, which is supported by 24 Participating Organizations, and will feature a variety of children/Family activities, entertainment, and Israeli-style food court, all students will be admitted to the exhibit at no charge.

Prominent community leader, Jana Falic, daughter-in-law of the late Fima Chaim Falic, for whose memory is being honored through this exhibit and celebration, and major sponsor of the Israel 64 Celebration, expressed how impressed she was when she first saw this exhibit in Washington, D.C. “I felt that an exhibit of this caliber and uniqueness should be brought to our South Florida community, and truly believe that it would be most fitting to be included as part of our community’s annual Israel Independence Day Celebration.”

Other components of the Israel 64 Celebration on April 25 include a FREE Carnival for children from 5-8pm, Israeli-Style Kosher Food Court where a variety of foods will be available for purchase, interactive activity stations, screening of “Israel Inside,” a torch lighting ceremony honoring 8 individuals who have strengthened the ties between South Florida and the People of Israel, and beginning at 8pm the finals of the Israel 64 Celebration’s teen talent show.
