WellCity Hires Dr. Roger Garcia as its Chief Wellness Officer

Nashville, TN - - April 18, 2012   An exhaustive national search has ended with the hiring of Dr. Roger Garcia as WellCity’s Chief Wellness Officer.  Garcia will oversee all of WellCity’s wellness initiatives including its online wellness content and the development of new wellness products.

“What an honor to be part of WellCity,” Garcia says of his new post.  “I believe in WellCity’s message and am thrilled it has asked me to help shape that message of wellness.  

“We looked at dozens of candidates for this position,” says WellCity Founder and CEO, David George.  “But as soon as we interviewed Dr. Garcia, we knew he was the candidate to beat.  We believe he will help us reach even more people with our message of wellness.”

Garcia graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Medicine in 1983 and holds board certifications in family medicine, emergency medicine and anti-aging medicine.  He is also certified as an independent medical examiner and has completed a fellowship in Funtional and Regenerative Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine.

In 1996, he graduated from the Capital University Law School.  He has served as counsel for one of Columbus, Ohio’s most prestigious law firms.

Garcia is the author of Aged to Perfection – Anti-aging, Wellness and Weight Loss with Natural Hormones and is featured in the 2011 book, North America’s Top Doctors Share Secrets to Anti-Aging and Wellness.  

He is also a highly sought after speaker.

WellCity plans to develop a product line around Dr. Garcia’s Aged to Perfection concept.
