New Jerusalem Orphanage Center Inc., starts drive to receive clothing from manufactures for Haiti
While many have used fame and fortune to bring aid to Haiti, New Jerusalem Orphange Center's director, Yanick Charles, educates, feeds, and shelters 194 children on a nursing assisstance's salary and unparallel devotion.
New Jerusalem Orphanage Center Inc. is seeking manufacturers to donate children's clothing apparel sizes 7-14. 100% of contributions will go to families such as the Pierres. Mom and Dad work as farmers but the meager pay is unable to provide for their family of five children (ranging from age 3 to 10 years old) so they bring the kids to the Center in order to receive critical support vital for their physical and emotional well-being. Yanick explains that "I want to see my kids live a normal life where they feel good because they have food, clothes, and shelter. Unfortunately, our one building is roofless but that does not stop famlilies from tbrining thier most cherised possession--children."
New Jerusalem Orphanage Inc. started with 50 children and has not only grown in size but also recognition, as it was incorporated in the US in 2010 and then in Haiti in 2011. Although inadequate supplies and housing continue to be a challage, the kids "keep coming." Any gift made will make a substantial and lasting difference, as all donotions will help sustan and expand programs. For more information visit our website at www.njocinc.org
