After a year of issue after issue you ultimately have to decide whether you are going to focus on being bitter or proceed to make oneself better...

Satisfaction of knowing we made our goal since at the price of $1 we only make a few cents on the transaction fees!

What is the book about?

Featuring common sense tidbits and stories about living in the 'hood’ but most importantly surviving and of course leaving in one piece.

The Ghetto Survival Guide for Black and Latinos is the type of book people especially those of color should read because many of our youth and adults are a bit too wrapped up in non beneficial practices and negative behaviors! Basically perpetuating a vicious cycle of chasing a media created dream of what being an American is all about to only find that the drugs, violence and despair has not gone anywhere

The book is a fun read with some really cool and actually useful tips on what you need to do to get yourself out of the ghetto, stay out of trouble, focus on what's good and keep it moving!

There are also some really serious topics about racism, police brutality, keeping away from bad influences and using your instincts.

The Ghetto Survival Guide for Black and Latinos is the author’s way of giving back! The wisdom that he learned sometimes the hard way, the feeling of having a dream shattered and having someone tell him to not give up and jump back into the fight and of course literally just missing the bullet from ghetto violence!

Now with a stable life and 2 teenage boys of his own he knew he had to write The Ghetto Survival Guide for Black and Latinos!
As he put it “The chain of communication for the simplest things has been broken! While everyone is chasing that pot of gold and ‘doing them’ everyone has forgot about the teens and young adults who desperately need advice on how to navigate through what can only be described as societies fringe communities”.
