Follow on Google News | Family Of Missing Mother To Hold EventA "Shining Hope" BBQ & Vigil will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 to help bring awareness and raise funds towards a reward which leads to information to Danielle.
By: Karen Ranoni, Event Coordinator, LostNMissing Inc This event will be open to the public, family, friends and media. There will be food, live music, door prizes, raffles, and desserts. A lantern release will be done towards the end of the eve. It will be held on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Admissions is $5.00 per person which covers your dinner, dessert & beverage. Directions to event: Take exit 1-B off northbound 1-44 at the Wichita River. Sponsored by the family of Danielle along with LostNMissing, Inc., a nonprofit corporation out of Londonderry, NH. A large portion of the food is being donated by the Elks Lodge. Many local businesses have provided door prizes and will be named and posted at the event. All proceeds go to the “Danielle Alvarado Benefit Fund” to increase the reward for viable information leading to missing Danielle Hill-Alvarado. Danielle Hill Alvarado went missing on January 24, 2010 at the age of 27. She was last seen following church services and attended a baby shower with family and returned home to her husband following. They had a rocky relationship and she was considering leaving him at the time she went missing. He has since died at his home in September 2011. The family is hoping that someone will come forward with viable information that will lead to Danielle. The family will honor interviews with the media and encourage them to attend the event.
