-- Georgetown, SC— Learning how to handle emergencies when caring for children is the focus of Georgetown Hospital System’s Safesitter Program. Registration is now underway for the summer sessions: June 18 and 19, July 9 and 10, or July 11 and 12.
The medically accurate program is for boys and girls, 11-13 years old. 2-day course sessions will be held June 18 and 19 at the Education Center on the campus of Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown; July 9 and 10 and July 11 and 12 at Wachesaw Conference Center in Murrells Inlet from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m..
The program will teach safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills and appropriate responses to medical emergency situations. The fee is $50; online registration available on www.georgetownhospitalsystem.org/
