April 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Profero London have ended their search for a new ECD, by appointing Ben Clapp former Executive Creative Director of Tribal DDB and more recently Elvis. Clapp replaces Elspeth Lynn who is leaving Profero to join M&C Saatchi in May after 3 years at the agency.  

Ben Clapp was the Creative Director of Elvis since April 2009, producing such campaigns as ‘Fly Virgin Trains’ ‘Virgin Holidays Travelator’ and ‘Don’t Go Zombie’ and winning Elvis their first ever Golds at the DMA. Clapp was also the creative force behind significant digitally led pitch wins including Virgin Media, Honda, Playstation, Auto Trader, Red Bull and Sky.  

As ECD of TribalDDB, Clapp won many awards across the board for industry leading work such as ‘The GTI Project’ ‘Midlife Crisis Retreat’ and ‘Golf Nightdriving’ with 2 Gold Lions at Cannes for Monopoly City Streets and Monopoly Live. Other achievements include winning the Guinness global account, the IAB Grand Prix 2009 and multiple Golds at the One Show 2010, as well as the first ever D&AD pencil for Viral Advertising (for the Guardian Clark County Project).

He is a 3 times winner of Bill Bernbach award for the best work in the DDB network, and contributed significantly to Tribal beating W&K to win AdAge Global Agency of the Year 2007.
At Profero, Clapp will work closely with the agency’s CEO, Dale Gall and MD, Buster Dover to continue to drive and grow Profero’s creative output across all clients including M&S, MINI, Smirnoff, Lipton Ice Tea and Barclays.
