Highlights effective interactions between attorneys, paralegals and legal staff

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Tanya Zion Stohler, Director of Business Development and Legal Affairs at Kevin Kennedy Associates, led a roundtable on continuing legal education at the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar) on April 17. The session, “Working Styles: How to Motivate, Manage & Be Managed,” shared communication strategies to strengthen the paralegal/attorney relationship.

Stohler covered diverse personality types and working styles, offering tips to improve efficiency on a daily basis. She draws from a background in corporate training, sales and legal education to counsel practical solutions for paralegals and solo practitioners.

The roundtable was sponsored by IndyBar’s Paralegal Committee and Solo/Small Firm Practice Section, and was held at the IndyBar Education Center. Attendees were offered a 1.0 non-legal subject matter (NLS) CLE credit for participating.

In March Stohler spoke about working with expert witnesses before the Indiana Paralegal Association. She is also engaged to speak at IndyBar later this year:

•   Thursday, Sept. 13: Effective Networking
•   Thursday, Nov. 8: Best Practices for Electronic Communication
