Delly Beekman, AJLI President, said, “While the Emerald Coast is among our youngest Junior Leagues, their members work to create lasting community impact by carrying out the Mission laid down by our founder, Mary Harriman, more than 110 years ago. That Mission today lives on in the work done by more than 155,000 members in 292 independent Leagues in four countries.”

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast‘s nearly 300 members women demonstrate their voluntarism with hands-on projects. Every fall, members work to gather donations of shoes, socks, underwear, tops, a jacket or fleece, and pants so that the JLEC can offer underprivileged children a full wardrobe of clothes as part of its annual Child Clothing Project.
