Cinépolis announces ‘The 3rd Dimension’ film festival

From April 13 to April 26, 2012, patrons to relive the magic of blockbuster 3D films like Harry Potter, Avatar, Ice Age 3 etc. at Cinépolis
April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Cinépolis, the world’s 4th largest cinema chain and India’s 1st international exhibitor in collaboration with RealD, leading global licensor of stereoscopic 3D technology will be hosting ‘The 3rd Dimension’-a 3D film festival. Cinépolis will once again screen 3D blockbusters such as Avatar, Transformers 3:Dark of the moon, Adventures of Tintin and Ice Age 3 for their patrons who can enjoy unparalleled, mind blowing 3D experience at their theatres.
Announcing the festival, Devang Sampat, Head Strategy, Cinépolis India added, “Cinépolis is the first and the only cinema chain which brings 100% digital cinema experience to the country. In all the 6 cities that Cinépolis is present, the 3D experience has been well appreciated and looking at the increasing demand for 3D content from our patrons, we have tried to capture the best 3D movies of the last 5 years and put together a one-of-its-kind film festival. This is the first year of the 3D film festival and we are thrilled to partner with RealD3D with whom we already have an exclusive partnership in India. “
The festival is scheduled from April 13 and will last up to April 26. Other 3D movies, which have generated interest amongst patrons, such as Step up 3D, Smurfs 3D and Rio 3D will also be screened during the festival.  
Patrons can enjoy all the movies with a special festival pass wherein you can enjoy ‘7 at the price of 4’, i.e. watch all 7 movies in the festival at the price of only 4, along with special branded merchandise.
