New Daily Deals Site Introduces Colorado Pet Owners to Local Veterinarians and Pet Businesses.

Burton, a Colorado native and graduate of the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business, started Pet Family Deals as a way for local veterinarians and pet organizations to promote themselves without  upfront advertising costs.   With so many daily deals sites operating in Colorado, Burton felt the pet industry needed to be protected.  

“I started to see pet-related daily deals popping up and thought this would be a great time to put my foot in the door and create an accredited daily deals site which would operate with a clear mission to always do what’s best for pets, not the daily deals site.”
 
Pet Family Deals allows businesses to earn up to 75% of their deal proceeds without quotas or long waiting periods before running a promotion.  “Most daily deal sites only run deals that meet minimum profit targets and margin,” says Burton.  “It’s one thing for a daily deal company to create a deal for humans, who want simple medical procedures, and selling hundreds of those deals at a time.   It’s quite another to promote medical procedures, and other deals, for animals  that aren’t monitored by DVMs or sanctioned by certified animal behaviorists.   Because of our partnership with the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association we’re uniquely positioned to help protect pets, educate pet owners, and promote responsible pet businesses across the state.”

The CVMF’s programs include veterinary grants for disadvantaged people, home veterinary care for disabled and homebound individuals, state wide emergency relief services for animals and funding for the Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital in Denver.
