Women Meet Their Match in Episode 8: “Trainer Time” on “The Balancing Act’s” Makeover Series on Lifetime TV
Viewers go behind the scenes for trainer casting calls on
‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ Series
(Pompano Beach, FL –April 12, 2012) After enduring the grueling one-week Boot Camp together, the four women head home separately to start their many-weeks of hard work ahead as their journey continues on April 16th at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on the ‘A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™’ series on “The Balancing Act” on Lifetime television.
Reunited with family back home, and no longer under the watchful eyes of the Premier Fitness experts, the ladies go solo as they take responsibility for their own health and wellness. Boot Camp was no fun and games –but now the ladies can enjoy the next phase of the process – the search for the perfect personal trainer partner to accompany each woman while she continues her fitness routine at home.
The Balancing Act’s casting team had the daunting task of sorting through hundreds of on-line applications to find potential fits for the women. Viewers will be taken inside the casting calls where trainers put their best foot forward to impress the team. After cuts are made, the second round of casting calls begins.
Similar to “Speed Dating”, the women, trainers, and crew enjoy lots of laughter during “Speed Training” when the trainers and women spend 3 minutes talking one-on-one to see if their motivations, inspirations and styles match up. After 3 minutes, a bell indicates it’s time to move on to the next trainer at the table.
What did the women want and need in a trainer? Did any of the women feel an immediate connection with a particular trainer? Watch the show to see the match-ups revealed - as the women meet their perfect trainer that complements their unique personalities.
“Our four ladies need a trainer to help them navigate through the challenges of this journey. Trainers should be there to educate, guide, empower and motivate; the ladies need their trainers to commit to their success. Whether working out at home or as part of the program it’s always more fun to have a partner to work out with”, says Dr.Tom Deters, Managing Director of the “A Lifetime of Health and Wellness Makeover™ series.
Stay tuned next week as the ladies start their first work-out with their personal trainers.
