AVN Arogya Launches ‘Healthy Life’ program in view of ‘World Health Day’

April 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Chennai, April 11, 2012: AVN Arogya, a unique ayurveda hospital cum wellness centre in Madurai initiated “Healthy Life” Programs in view of the World Health Day.  Based on the recommendations made by WHO on account of World Health Day 2012, AVN Arogya has initiated comprehensive programs to promote healthy lifestyle across life courses.  A discount of 10% will be offered to senior citizens of age 60+ and women of all ages registering between April 7th and April 22nd, 2012 for this comprehensive ‘healthy life’ program.

Due to advances in science, technology and medicine the average lifespan of the people has gone up considerably.  There has been a steady increase in life expectancy and the elderly population, thereby increasing the burden of non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, arthritis, cancers, diabetes, and mental health problems, putting significant additional demands on health services, say experts.  Making life for the elderly, healthy and productive is the key.
