Apple's 'JOBS' The First Steve Jobs Full Length Feature Film to be Released End of 2012

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- ASPEN, CO Script is completed and casting is in process for a May 29 for late 2012 release of film that could be watched by global consumers who have purchased over 500 million Jobs-led products in the last 10 years alone.

Late this May, shooting will commence on JOBS, a full-length independent feature film on the life and legacy of Mr. Steve Jobs.  It follows the most challenging arc Mr. Jobs  rode as he and Mr. Steve Wozniak co-launched Apple against all odds, as Steve lost control of Apple to Mr. John Sculley how Mr. Jobs regained control of the company and  its products and built Apple into the most valuable company on the planet.

The movie was birthed by the Texas-based 5-Star Institute and its 5-Star Feature Film unit after Chairman Mark Hulme realized how culturally significant Steve Jobs was when his company came to a halt the day Steve Jobs announced his final retirement.   Research suggested interest in such a movie would be global.


Mr. Hulme reached out to Devoted Consultants, a media development, marketing and producing team. Under CEO Marcos Rodriguez, Devoted has taken responsibility for the CFO role, brand integration, team building, marketing and the sale of various domestic and international rights. Mr.  Rodriguez is joined by David Traub, an award-winning digital media and concert producer.  He’s best known for producing all display graphics in Stephen King’s seminal “The Lawnmower Man,” and is currently attached to several other funded feature films currently in development.

JOBS, an indie movie, is expected to premiere in time for Oscar consideration in the fall of 2012, and anticipates global reach across all platforms.   An associated foundation dedicated to promoting Mr. Jobs’ inspired entrepreneurial values will be launched in parallel.
