Follow on Google News | The Paramount Offers Free Admission To FirefightersEmergency personnel that responded to the recent brush fires on Long Island are invited to join an evening of jazz or rock, courtesy of The Paramount.
By: Nelly Ortiz On Friday, April 13th, The Paramount Jazz Series will be featuring Spyro Gyra. In the theater’s official press release of the show, “After some 5,000 performances, 29 albums and nearly 40 years together, another band might be considered middle aged. But Spyro Gyra is still in its prime and shows little sign of wanting to slow down either, gaining Grammy® nominations for each of their last four albums.” The other show option this weekend is Hellyeah and Clutch on Sunday night, April 15th. “Hard rock supergroup Hellyeah is touring in support of their new album Band of Brothers which is scheduled for a June 5th release in North America. The album, the band’s first effort for their new label home, Eleven Seven Music, was recorded in Dallas at drummer Vinnie Paul’s home studio, VP’s Upstairs Studio, and was produced by the band and Jeremy Parker (Godsmack, Evanessence) This offer is available for the rest of the week.
