April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- BOHEMIA, New York, April 11 – The Paramount Theater officials and Blu Chip Marketing today expressed their appreciation for the heroic efforts of the firefighters who battled the recent Manorville brush fires and announced a special opportunity to honor their service to the community. All emergency personnel or residents that were affected by the incidents have a chance to enjoy complimentary admission to any show this weekend to The Paramount in Huntington.

On Friday, April 13th, The Paramount Jazz Series will be featuring Spyro Gyra. In the theater’s official press release of the show, “After some 5,000 performances, 29 albums and nearly 40 years together, another band might be considered middle aged. But Spyro Gyra is still in its prime and shows little sign of wanting to slow down either, gaining Grammy® nominations for each of their last four albums.” The other show option this weekend is Hellyeah and Clutch on Sunday night, April 15th. “Hard rock supergroup Hellyeah is touring in support of their new album Band of Brothers which is scheduled for a June 5th release in North America. The album, the band’s first effort for their new label home, Eleven Seven Music, was recorded in Dallas at drummer Vinnie Paul’s home studio, VP’s Upstairs Studio, and was produced by the band and Jeremy Parker (Godsmack, Evanessence), who also served as engineer,” and “Clutch is hitting the road in support of their double vinyl edition of Blast Tyrant which is being released February 28th via Weathermaker Music.  They will also be releasing a picture disc single of the new track “Pigtown Blues” on April 24th.  This is the first new studio material from Clutch since 2009’s Strange Cousins From the West,” as stated in the official press release for the engagement.

This offer is available for the rest of the week. The theater asks for anyone who is interested to contact Blu Chip Marketing at 631-337-1603 or email jess@bluchipmarketing.net to be added to the guest list.
