-- Taking care of one's own health is very important. However, nobody can go through the entirety of their lives without getting sick at least once. If you are fortunate, you probably spent the majority of your youth in relatively good health. If you are unfortunate, you might have had to battle certain health ailments throughout the entirety of your life. A lot of it does seem to be random, but the truth of the matter is that as we all get older, we are all at risk of developing different health issues.
While Kelly Habbas has been successful in avoiding major illness for the majority of his adult life, in 2011 he engaged in a battle with kidney stones. Kidney stones are an extremely painful concentration of salts and other minerals that build up in the excretory system, and end up blocking the path to the urethra. This is an incredibly painful sensation, and most people are incapacitated by it when they have kidney stones. However, Kelly Habbas was able to actually drive himself to the hospital upon realizing that there was something horribly wrong. Of course, he was still in incredible pain while he was doing so, but his fortitude and ability to tolerate the pain certainly impressed the doctors and nurses who helped him through the situation.
We are thankful today to announce that Kelly Habbas is once again back in good health and is living a pain-free life. However, we just wanted to mention how impressed we were with his ability to deal with pain as well as he does. Clearly, Kelly Habbas is able to deal with any sort of stressful situation very well, and this uncommon ability has put him at the top of his game as vice president and CIO of Metronomics. We look forward to seeing what Kelly Habbas does in the future, and we wish him the best of luck with his health now that he has a clean slate once more.
