A networking and help site that connects multifamily professionals
MARIETTA, GA —March 26, 2012 — Position Logistics, a digital consulting company in metro Atlanta, announced the beta release of RentSpeak.org.
RentSpeak.org is a community of multifamily professionals. Users can follow current trends, participate in peer-to-peer training and discuss important issues.
The site is designed for multifamily professionals including property managers, leasing agents and maintenance managers.
RentSpeak.org is built on the existing social fabric that allows the user to gather and build their professional relationships through existing social profiles such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google.
There are thousands of conversations that happen every day on the web regarding the property management industry. Those conversations, however, happen to be spread out over several social platforms. RentSpeak.org is designed to aggregate those discussions into one community.
RentSpeak.org brings together people and conversations into one powerful destination. Communities are only as strong as their contributors and users are encouraged to share and comment on the content items.
Between aggregation, editing, curation and creation, RentSpeak.org is the most powerful platform for a multifamily property professional to advance their career. RentSpeak.org is also a content hub for multifamily professionals.
With over a half a million apartment communities with five or more units in the United States, the industry was a perfect fit for a niche social network.
“We were looking for a sizeable industry with a young workforce familiar with social technology and an existing base of socially engaged professionals that have a deep need for connecting with other professionals,”
One of the benefits of a social network that deals with industry-specific members is a crowd-sourced platform of information and advice. Vickery said RentSpeak.org can provide a host of resources for users.
“The competition for new residents and renewals is fierce. A property manager needs every industry-specific resource they can find to compete effectively in their community,” Vickery said. “RentSpeak.org fits that specific need.”
RentSpeak.org is the first social site created by Position Logistics. Vickery said the company is currently working on other industries that can benefit from same functionality that the site provides.
