April 9, 2012 - PRLog -- National TV exposure for Pakefield Fish Fryer
Chris Hood of the Frying Scotsman in Pakefield had a starring role in Channel 4’s hit show Four in  Bed this week.
Chris showed contestants the art of fish filleting in a Generation Style activity as the show visited the Kings Head and Queens Jules in Bungay.
“For first time filleters there were some good – and some not so good – attempts,” said Fish Shop owner Chris. “We had planned to batter and fry as well but ran out of time.”
Chris was invited to pass on his skills by brother and sister in law Tim and Jules Anderson whose hotel was featured. He fillets all the fish after buying them fresh each day from the docks at Lowestoft for his four star award shop in Shelton Road Pakefield.
Before opening the shop14 years ago, Chris was trained as a chef in the Army and has worked offshore and in top local hotels.
The segment of the show featuring Chris was aired on Easter Monday.
“It was great fun and I enjoyed my chance to be Bruce Forsyth!” said Chris.
