Brookfield, CT solar firms receives solar award

April 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Brookfield, Conn. – April 9th, 2012 – Ross Solar Group, an installer of high quality solar power systems, today announced it has received the SunPower “Commercial Regional Dealer of the Year” award. Ross Solar Group was selected from more than 26 SunPower commercial dealers in the Northeast U.S. for its outstanding performance as a SunPower dealer in 2011.

The “Commercial Regional Dealer of the Year” award honors SunPower dealers who demonstrate exceptional customer service and proven knowledge and leadership in the industry.

In 2011, Ross Solar Group installed the largest SunPower installation in New York City. The 264-kilowatt SunPower T5 Solar Roof Tile system installed for Linear Lighting Corporation uses high efficiency SunPower E18 solar panels.

Ross Solar Group was also recently awarded a special grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) that enables the company to offer uncapped cash rebates to New York City businesses.  
The SunPower dealer network includes more than 2,000 dealers worldwide.
