April 9, 2012
-- With the way the 2011 season ended, Osman Racing was looking forward to the 2012 season as one of new beginnings. With a brand new car from Dominator Chassis, they worked furiously to get things ready for the season opener at Macon Speedway on April7. It was all for naught though as the distributor blew apart at the very beginning of hot laps, putting them out of competition for the entire night. With repairs underway, Osman Racing will be looking to make it to Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, IL on April 13 for their season opener and then back to Macon Speedway on April 14 as they try, for the first time, to win a track championship at either track.
On a side note: Osman Racing driver Greg Osman, has completely healed from injuries sustained in the vicious accident that took place at Fayette County Speedway last October. Numerous new safety precautions have been taken in the new car to help prevent such a thing ever happening again.
Osman Racing would like to thank all their sponsors: Prestige Events, Dominator Chassis, McQuinn Auto Service, Maurer Hot Rods, Fusion Graphics and Sign Co., GuyCast.net, GoPro, SPY Optics, Livewire Energy, FeedTheMachine.com, Slick Offroad Wash, Amsoil, and Berma Clothing
