BKD to Present Spring 2012 Forensics Institute Webinar Series

April 9, 2012 - PRLog -- SPRINGFIELD, MO. – Join BKD for this complimentary webinar series developed specifically for attorneys, paralegals and business executives interested in learning about forensic accounting, valuation and investigation related issues.

The first course, “Business Succession Planning:  Know Your Options, Unique Opportunities & Recent Valuation Court Cases,” will cover the options available to business owners in succession planning and valuation issues related to these situations.  The course will be presented by Shaun Duffin, a member of BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division who works with clients and organizations providing business valuation services.  

“Splitting the Money: Financial Issues in Divorce,” will cover tips regarding some of the key financial issues that need consideration in divorce, as well as pitfalls to avoid.  The presenter, Angela Morelock, has 15 years of experience and leads BKD’s forensic accounting and investigations team.

The final course, “FCPA Investigations: Tools to Help Put the Evidence Puzzle Together,” will offer tools and tips for identifying relevant evidence, from the latest computer forensics tools to the red flags forensic accountants listen for during an FCPA interview.  Julia Mast, a member of BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division, will be presenting this course.
