Atlanta Area Firms Hosting Annual Shoe Auction to Benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Atlanta, GA, July 14, 2012: Eventista Productions and Grace and Peace Productions are partnering together again to raise funds for children affected by Type 1 diabetes.
The firms’ respective owners, Nyasia Bowen and Nadia Mathews, are seeking to secure donations from jewelers, new or unworn designer shoes and accessories as well as in-kind donations for the auction. Mrs. Bowen’s diagnosis of diabetes has raised her awareness of the disease and spurred her commitment to help find a cure. The business owners hope to raise awareness about Type 1 diabetes and how to help children stricken with the disease through the Heeling Diabetes event. With over 40 new cases diagnosed in children each day, help is desperately needed.
More information about Juvenile Diabetes is available at The JDRF website at www.JDRF.org.
Businesses and individuals desiring to donate are asked to contact Nye Bowen via email at nye@EventistaProductions.com or call 404-625-6715. To attend this event, RSVP or for more information, please visit www.shoenistaauction.com .
