The showcase will to be held at Sojourner-Douglass College auditorium (200 N. Central, Baltimore, MD 21202) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will only be ten acts competing in singing, songwriting and/or dance categories to receive the ULMII Award and a list of prizes such as free public relations/media and promotions consultation (www.FreelanceAssociatesInc.com); Ty Moore started in the entertainment business as an artist manager at Sharp Eye Entertainment for such artists as Chance and Dria. Chance went on to sing back-up for Lil Mo on one of her tours and Dria ended up on HBO’s ‘The Wire.” He also managed producers such as One Up Entertainment and The Featherstones - who wrote/produced Dru Hill’s hit “I Should Be” and Buddafy’s “Rockabye” He changed his company’s focus to commercial photography and its name to Sharp Eye Photography (www.IAmSharpEye.com) Harvey started at WCAO/Clear Channel as an intern in 1991 and later as a paid intern - working as a board technician. Two years later Doresa was promoted to Public Service Assistant. By 1994 Doresa was promoted again to weekend programming and also as radio personality on “Melodies of Inspiration” Today Doresa works solely at Heaven 600 on the “Doresa Harvey Show” Monday through Friday during the mid-day slots from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Affectionately known by her listeners as “The Mid-Day Diva” Harvey has a loving and funny personality that has garnered her such popularity that she has become the #1 mid-day Gospel personality on WCAO’s Heaven 600, the #1 rated Gospel Contemporary station in the country. She was recently nominated for a Stellar Award for her skills at Heaven 600. Harvey is also known for volunteering her time hosting community events, such as Uplifting Minds II, and hosting fundraisers. The 13 year-old entertainment conference has had the pleasure of having Doresa Harvey support as host for 12 years. Assisting Doresa hosting the showcase is Baltimore’s own DJ Fatman (who is also a sensational singer).
