SHIRI R JOSHUA  practiced as a clinical psychotherapist for children and youth when she lived in Toronto from 1994 to 2007. Over the years life took her to where she was needed most, and began combining her love for people and animals together with her love for inspirational spiritual speaking. She taught many classes and seminars in Toronto and Vancouver on the psychology of the human animal bond, pet loss grief bereavement, and Animal Reiki Training.

In 2010 SHIRI was guided to leave behind everything that she was doing and dedicate her life to spiritual teachings on how Compassion, Service, Oneness, Unity, and Love play a vital role in healing us personally and globally. Through inspiration she created an initiative called S.O.U.L. Academy: School of Compassion, dedicated to spiritual teachings from the animals, and similar lessons from A Course in Miracles on Unity Consciousness, Forgiveness, Oneness, and coming closer to our Divine Self. She has also been giving a number of workshops and seminars at local spiritual centres and bookstores in Vancouver and Toronto
