Cambridgeshire logistics firm continues support for children's charity

Peterborough based logistics company, PC Howard Limited, is proud to support The Bulgarian Orphanage Appeal, a local charity based near Peterborough

April 6, 2012 - PRLog -- The charity which is run by Douglas & Bernadette Leggett, aims to help orphaned children, both boys and girls, from the age of 1 month to 1 8 years of age. The appeal has been so successful that it has recently been awarded approved charitable status.  The charity arranges for clothes and goods to be sent to the Dimcho Debelianov Orphanage in Silistra,
Bulgaria.

The charity supports three childrens home, a centre for the elderly and a home for the disabled.

PC Howard Limited has a longstanding relationship with the charity and helps by utilising their resources to help expedite the goods to Bulgaria. The company collects and stores clothes and consumables at their Peterborough Depot which are then delivered to Bulgaria in September each year. Other notable companies who support the charity include NEXT and Gap.

PC Howard Ltd believes in promoting local community group projects and they also provide support for the Brixworth Carnival, the Kings Cliffe Players (local amateur dramatic society) and invest in sponsorship at Peterborough United Football Club and Northampton Rugby Club.
