John was born in Fullerton, California and by the time she was a teenager she had lived on four continents; North America, Western Europe, Asia and Africa. Her travels and love of social anthropology is reflected in her work; so too is a passion for folktales, classic literature and social justice issues. “Tales of Fantasy and Reality” is her first published fictional work and will be available on Amazon.com from May 2012. 9:45pm OPERA PABLO HENRICH – TENOR http://www.pablohenrich.com/ Tenor Pablo Henrich was born in La Paz, Bolivia. He received his training at the Catholic University of America followed by 2 years of vocal training in Rome, Italy under tenor Gianni Bavaglio. Pablo has sung with companies such The Washington Opera, Baltimore Opera, Opera North (NH), Opera Theater or Norther Virginia, Shaker Mountain Opera Festival (NY), Manhattan Opera, Opera Theater of Costa Rica, Bolivian Philharmonic, The Bolivian Symphony Orchestra, amongst others. His recitals and concerts have taken him to places such as Russia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru and Bolivia. SOLOMIA MARIA DUTKEWYCH – SOPRANO Solomia Maria Dutkewytch has been a soloist performing for over ten years at major music concerts, festivals, and television productions, including official government and international events, notably at the National ‘Palace of Ukraine’, National Opera Theatre, the National Philharmonic Theatre, in concert halls, theatres and coliseums throughout Ukraine. She has performed in the United States, Canada, Austria, Germany, Poland and Russia. Specialized radio and video productions with Solomia’s singing have been aired on major Ukrainian stations. 10:30pm - JAZZ TRIO YVETTE RIVERS http://www.yvetterivers.com/ Accompanied by some of the area’s most talented jazz musicians, Yvette Rivers sings timeless jazz standards from the Great American songbook. Prior to singing professionally, Yvette performed in Redhot & Blue and Whim n’ Rhythm, two a capella singing groups at Yale University. Yvette began singing professionally in the DC area in 2000 as the “girl singer” for the La Salle Dance Orchestra, a big band that performed music from the 20s and 30s. Since then, Yvette has performed with various jazz trios and quartets at local restaurants, private events, and the Kennedy Center for a big band tribute. 11pm - INDIE ROCK BAND ACCESS ROYALE http://www.accessroyale.com/ Access Royale are an eclectic indie rock band hailing from Washington DC. Formed from a mutual love of Muse, Radiohead, Vampire Weekend and MGMT, the band discovered each other via Craigslist in early 2011, and soon found themselves flying west to LA to shoot their first music video. The band’s debut album, City Of Paradigm, is slated for a May 17th, 2012 release in the U.K./ Europe & U.S., and is bursting with uplifting messages of self-discovery and freedom.
