About Midtown Urology
Drs. James K. Bennett, Jenelle E. Foote and Paul Alphonse, Jr. head Midtown Urology and Midtown Urology Surgical Center, a community-based surgical practice with two offices within downtown Atlanta. They are dedicated to providing the highest quality urological care in the Atlanta metropolitan area. In addition, to their community-based surgical practice, Drs. James K. Bennett and Jenelle E. Foote founded a non-profit organization called the Midtown Urology Health and Education Foundation (MUHEF) that was established to address the health disparities facing minority communities. Its mission is to foster a progressive interest in the overall health of the medically underserved in the Atlanta metropolitan area and the state of Georgia by facilitating educational seminars, health screenings, peer counseling, and clinical research development. To carry out this mission, they have a series of community service programs that include health education seminars, prostate cancer support groups (SMART Lives), women’s support groups (For Sisters Only), Community Health talks, and much more. They encourage preventive health-care initiatives and promote awareness of health risks.
