April 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers Life Coach Mir Lynne Pietrzyk and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Educator Madeline Ebelini announce the Awaken & Flourish Springtime Mountain Self-Discovery Retreat featuring meditation, gentle yoga and self-discovery activities in the Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina, May 18-22.

“We are planning this special retreat because we see a need for people to be able to get away from the busyness of life, focus on themselves for a few days and learn time-tested techniques for relaxation and stress reduction,” says Pietrzyk. “After four days, our guests will leave our cozy mountain cottage with the tools they need to begin living the healthy, happy and peaceful life they desire.”

The focus of this retreat is to give guests the time, space, support and inspiration to reconnect with their authentic selves through gentle self-awareness experiences, guided meditation, gentle and easy yoga and tai chi, and attunement with nature in beautiful mountainside accommodations in the Nantahala National Forest amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

The retreat will begin at 3 p.m. EST on Friday May 18, 2012 and end on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. EST. The cost is $950 per person, with a “Bring a Friend” special of $750 per person. Because the retreat takes place in a home, the number of guests is limited.

About the Facilitators

She holds a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University where she received comprehensive training in meditation. She is also a registered Yoga teacher. Madeline completed professional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with senior faculty at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, including Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.
