Sacred Words Biblical Word Game Now Available on App Store

April 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Sacred Words is an innovative word game where not only can you use normal dictionary words, you can use words from the Bible as well! Additionally, you can further your mind by actually clicking on a word to retrieve the standard and/or Biblical definition of the word that was last played.

Playing the game begins with a player placing at least one tile on a star square, which is at the center of the word. Thereafter words have to be formed either horizontally or vertically relative to the placed tile while ensuring at least one tile is connected to the pre-existing word.

Each letter has its own value and there are also blank titles with no point values.  Sacred words has a unique feature – the Crown tiles, which have a crown in place of a number.  If a Crown tile is used to create a Biblical word the total values of all letters are multiplied by 7. If the crown letters are used in a dictionary word they retain their original letter value.  Dictionary words & Biblical words have different scoring icons. A dictionary word has a bronze icon while a Biblical word has a gold icon. There are many other features available in this Sacred Words game, which allows the user to score in many additional ways. The game Sacred Words is the brainchild of Ynygma a company founded on Biblical principles based in Colleyville Texas. The company is involved in designing innovative mobile games and applications, which are based on Biblical values.

The idea of creating Sacred Words game came when one of the founders was riding his bike in summer of 2010. The idea, which was based on a word game with a Biblical twist, when discussed with rest of the team- became an instant hit. The idea was then conceptualized and the development began.
